Common questions

I don’t know my exact birth time.

Use the closest time you have. The planets barely move in an hour, but the lagna (rising sign) changes roughly every two hours, so the houses can shift. You can edit your birth details later from your profile.

Which ayanamsa does Cosmic OS use?

Lahiri by default. You can switch to Krishnamurti or Raman in Profile.

Why does my chart differ from another app?

Usually it’s the ayanamsa, the birth time, or the time zone used for the birthplace on that date. We look up the historical time zone for your birthplace, including daylight saving where it applied.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Delete account. It removes your data from our database right away. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I cancel a subscription?

In your iPhone’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Apple handles billing and refunds.
